The FreeHydroCells project currently has a job vacancy for a Research Assistant, based at University College Cork’s School of Chemistry and the Environmental Research Institute. The particulars of the position are as follows:
- Role: Research Assistant
- Purpose: To work on the experimental and simulated model development, characterisation and advancement of the novel PEC materials, cells and systems in the FreeHydroCells project. This will mainly involve PEC cell diagnostic characterisation, PEC cell-to-system development and diagnostic characterisation, and PEC system diagnostic and benchmarking characterisation and proof of concept verification. It will also involve development and characterisation of the electrolyte management subsystem and gas management subsystem.
- Contract: Specific whole-time post (15 months)
- Location: Based at the School of Chemistry / Environmental Research Institute, at University College Cork
- Salary: €31,462 – €41,443 (IUA Research Assistant Salary Scale)
- Annual leave: 22 days per annum
